We're looking for an passionate and talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our team!

Donkeymob is a group of creatives and techs who design, develop, and operate a variety of products using web technologies. We work on products like web and mobile applications, affiliate marketing systems, and high traffic content sites. Responsibilities

  • Write maintainable and scalable code
  • Help build new applications and maintain existing ones
  • Take responsibility for carrying product features from inception to their launch
  • Understand your code. Be performance and memory conscious. Measure.
  • Work with designers to implement product specific designs and look and feel guidelines
  • Mentor others by sharing ideas, providing guidance, and performing code reviews
  • Help in the development of standards, best practices, and processes for our team
  • Explore new ideas and technologies to improve our methods and processes
  • Understand the products you work on; Anticipate the needs of the business and it's customers
  • Provide your perspective on new features and products
  • Lead by example! Inspire teammates to do their best work by doing great work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years with client side javascript
  • 5+ years with html and css
  • 1+ years experience with React
  • Experience as a frontend developer working on large scale React applications
  • Familiar with responsive design methods and mobile first approaches
  • Familiar with JavaScript toolchains (npm, Gulp, Webpack, Babel, npm, parcel, Browserify, etc.)
  • Experience with modern React (i.e. hooks)
  • Creating and using reusable components and component libraries
  • Experience with Web APIs (REST, Web Tokens, Redux+Saga, Vuex)
  • Practical experience with MV* architecture (Vue, React + Redux, Flux, etc.), unidirectional data flow
  • Passionate about providing great experiences via proven UI/UX methods
  • Know the latest ECMAScript standards and features
  • Understanding of how HTTP and browsers work. Rendering, downloads assets, making API calls, caching, storage, SSL, etc
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of serverless development tech and methodologies ( Jamstack, Cloudfront, S3, Lambda, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience with all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Familiar with source control such as Git and CI/CD oriented build and deployment pipelines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with backend technologies - especially PHP
  • Strong Graphic design ability
  • Experience with data visualizations : D3, Chart.js, ApexCharts.js, Google Charts
  • Experience with animations: CSS animations, React Spring, React Material UI Transitions, Framer Motion, etc
  • Understanding of DevOps deployment processes and technologies; Docker, etc.
  • Experience with GraphQL based APIs
  • Experience with Javascript unit testing
